1. Data we process

Identity and account security

• Phone number and email during verification; the Desi Scene application database stores canonical HMAC-derived ownership values rather than exposing raw contacts through public or analytics tables.
• Verification provider identifiers, challenge status, timestamps, attempt limits and consent records.
• Random device identifier, platform, app version, session credential hashes, credential-family history, expiry, revocation and replay-detection records.
• Age-18 confirmation and versioned policy acceptances.

Public community data

• Scene Name, display name, biography, profile image, profile type, verification badge and home-market relevance signal.
• Posts, comments, approved images, linked AmericaDesi entities, public counts and publication/edit timestamps.

Safety, operations and purchases

• Reports, appeals, blocks, mutes, moderation decisions, sanctions, recovery records and audit evidence.
• Hashed network, device, account or contact subjects used for abuse limits; raw IP addresses and contacts are not intended for Desi Scene analytics properties.
• Operational telemetry, provider health, error codes, performance, feature usage and privacy-filtered analytics.
• Sponsored campaign, checkout, payment-event, refund and dispute records. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored in Desi Scene tables.

2. How we use data

• Create and secure accounts, verify ownership and issue device-bound sessions.
• Publish and rank public content, deliver interactions and notifications, and maintain permanent links.
• Detect spam, fraud, credential replay, unsafe media, policy violations and system failures.
• Process reports, appeals, recovery, account changes, exports and deletion requests.
• Operate sponsored campaigns, reconcile payments and maintain financial records.
• Measure reliability and product use without placing phone, email, OTP or credential values into permitted analytics properties.

3. Public information

Public profiles and published content can be viewed without signing in, indexed or shared by others, and copied outside AmericaDesi. Deleting content removes it from AmericaDesi public delivery, but copies made by other people or search caches may remain outside our control.

4. Service providers

AmericaDesi may use providers for hosting, databases, content delivery, phone/email verification, media storage and processing, moderation, payment processing, monitoring, analytics and error reporting. Providers receive only the data reasonably needed for their function and are subject to their own contracts and privacy terms.

5. Retention

• Unfinished verification and recovery records are removed or expired on bounded schedules.
• Public content remains until removed, deleted or no longer eligible. Revision and moderation evidence may be retained for safety and dispute purposes.
• Analytics and notifications use bounded retention periods defined by the operational system.
• Financial and fraud records may be retained as required by law, payment rules or legitimate business needs.
• Deletion queues media for private/public object removal and cache invalidation. Backups may age out on their normal cycle.

6. Security

Desi Scene uses separate private and public media storage, service-role-only private tables, row-level security, hashed credentials and contacts, bounded sessions, replay revocation, rate limiting, moderation, administrator authentication with two-factor verification, and audited privileged actions. No system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and requests

• Edit permitted profile fields and change your Scene Name subject to cooldown and reuse rules.
• Review and revoke device sessions.
• Block or mute profiles and manage notifications.
• Request a complete paginated export of supported Desi Scene data.
• Request account deletion after recent dual-channel reverification.
• Use published AmericaDesi support channels for privacy, correction or access questions.

Rights vary by jurisdiction and may require identity verification. AmericaDesi may retain limited records where law, safety, fraud prevention or disputes require it.

8. Children

Desi Scene participation is not intended for anyone under 18. Do not create a member account for a minor or submit a minor’s sensitive personal information.

9. Changes

Material changes will use a new privacy-policy version and may require renewed acceptance before further participation.
